UK corporate sector selects PPAF as ‘Global Partner’ for Pakistan

Business in the Community (BITC) and Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) have joined hands to strengthen the networks of responsible corporate sector for community-based development.

 

Mr. David Halley, Head of International Relationships, BITC, and Mr. Kamal Hyat, CEO/MD PPAF, signed the partnership agreement, on behalf of their respective institutions at the PPAF head office in Islamabad.

 

BITC is a UK-based non-profit organization headed by Prince Charles. It has selected PPAF as its “partner of choice” through which organizations and affiliated / collaborating entities of PPAF would work together to create opportunities to participate in programmes and acquire services from other network partners of BITC.

 

The central focus of BITC is to inspire, engage, support and challenge business in continually improving impact they have in communities in which they are located, the environment, marketplace and workplace through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

BITC is a unique organization of over 800 member (multinationals with global partners), committed to a positive impact on society. The “Global Partner Network” of BITC brings together 120 organizations operating in over 70 countries in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas.
