Ehsanpur village located in KotAddu, a sub-district (Tehsil) of Muzaffargarh on the bank of River Indus in the province of Punjab was severely affected by the floods of 2010.

In a proactive response to the national emergency PPAF convened a unique partnership of various institutions. With Engro Foundation- the CSR arm of Engro Corporation as its lead corporate partner, the project brought together the Government of Punjab, TUSDEC- a local technology company, Ansar Management Company-a local low-cost housing company and Roshni - a local NGO for education for an integrated project implemented through Farmers Development Organization, a PPAF partner organization.

The project adopted an innovative approach for rehabilitation and reconstruction with a focus on housing, alternative energy, girls’ education, women empowerment, livelihoods, sanitation and local area development.
