PPAF’s Internship Program The PPAF Internship Training Program aims at training fresh university graduates to prepare them for the challenges of the development sector. Under the program fresh graduates are provided with a month long in-house training followed by field attachment of three months duration. After successful completion of the field attachment some of the participants are offered job depending on their skills and suitability. The internship program provides the participants with theoretical back up through session delivery on various development related concepts. The major focus is on familiarizing the participants of the program with development related concepts like social mobilization and its dynamics, community development, its historical background and its various dimensions, rural development models, microfinance and poverty alleviation, community organization and sustainable development etc. In addition special attention is paid to improving the presentation and communication skills of the participants. The participants during field attachments with different partner organizations practically observe the theories they learn during the in-house training and acquire first hand knowledge of the ground realities and problems lying at grassroots.
