The PPAF has a democratic and transparent governance structure, which best assures an independent, non-political organization that is efficiently and effectively managed. The Articles of Association prescribe a three-tier governance structure, comprising a General Body, a Board of Directors and a management team headed by the Chief Executive. Significant features of the governance structure are its system of checks and balances and the predominant role given to members of the civil society.
